Reflection on ICT as a co- construction tools  

               

Co construction tools are an approach, where it is an emphasis on collaboration, and partnership working. It also includes the interaction process such as discussion, cooperation and coordination among group. Co construction support construction of knowledge through share understanding, share ideas and thought collaboratively. It happens when students are working in groups of two or more mutually searching for understanding, solution meaning or creating a product. Co construction aims to develop the skill and confidence to become highly effective learner, taking ownership of their own learning including content and mode of delivery and assessment.

Through collaborative learning we can exchange our understanding with other and we can also learn from them. Co construction product is not an outcome of individual rather it is an outcome all the participant. To have a co construction we need not have to do interact face to face, the world is all computerized and we have much different digital application like goggle docs, electronic white board, blogs, discussion forum on portals etc.., all this platform will facilitate our co construction learning where we can co edit, exchange database, graphics and text, more importantly it will enhance collaborative learning.

After learning ICT as co construction tools and doing activity based on this topic I learned many how to explore new things and share idea for our learning, more over I learnt how to create goggle docs and work on it which is one way to do co constructive with our friend. From this topic I also gained lots of skill on how to cooperate and construct knowledge with our partner, I also learnt way to positive interaction and build relationship with our mates. On top of this I learnt the skill of problem solving, critical thinking and time management. All this knowledge and skill are acquired after I designed a lesson plan using goggle docs as an activity for co construction. 

My personal experience is that teaching and learning via co construction is extremely rewarding for all concerned. It is not risk free but it’s highly engaging and leads to some extra ordinary outcomes. So I will prefer to have co construction in my future if I become teacher because I have enough experience knows the benefits of it, more over I will make sure that my student will learn more from each other and make all knowledgeable. Working together to build one will be always best because three man efforts is always better than one man effort.
